The Porsche Penske Motorsport works team tackles the 24 Hours of Le Mans with three Porsche 963. The 91st long-distance race will be held on 10/11 June 2023.
Porsche is determined to maximise its chances of scoring its 20th overall victory at the 24 Hours of Le Mans. To this end, the Porsche Penske Motorsport works team has entered the V8 engine powered brand new Porsche 963 in the long-distance classic. The Hertz Team JOTA customer squad fields a fourth Porsche 963.
2023 marks the 75th anniversary for Porsche, with the Le Mans classic celebrating its 100th anniversary this year. Porsche has a rich history at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, one of the most prestigious endurance races in the world. Here is a list of some of Porsche's most significant victories at the event:
A small auto shop a few miles from the circuit has been the home of the Porsche team in Le Mans for more than thirty years. It is here, in the village of Teloché, where preparations are made to win the famous endurance race until 1981 when Group C started.

These are just a few of the notable victories Porsche has achieved at the 24 Hours of Le Mans throughout its history. The race has seen many other triumphs for the brand as well with early Porsche 356, RS60, 718, 904, 906 and 910 cars, cementing Porsche's status as a dominant force in endurance racing.
